Instagram = The Picture Twitter
Off subject, lately I've been entertaining myself with this Instagram app on my iphone. I don't know how long it's been around but I've just caught on to it. It's basically another type of social network except it's based around pictures. My kind of website :) It reminds me of twitter in a way because you have followers. People upload pictures onto their profile and edit them. Then you can share them on facebook, twitter, flickr, tumblr, etc. Here are some of the pics I've created on Instagram

I DO NOT Support Individual Lashes + Removal Tips
I no longer support individual lashes. I have not had a good experience as far as not losing my real eyelashes. This morning I've removed my individual lashes with Ardell Lashfree Remover. (The remover DOES WORK effectively!) The glue that was used Ardelle Lashtite glue. Of course, I knew I was gonna lose some of my real lashes but this is just ridiculous. I LITERALLY do not have anymore real lashes left. I have at least like 7 left on each eye and they are in different places along my eyelids. I've had my individual lashes for atleast 3 weeks. This my second time getting them so I definately should have learned from the first time I got them. In addition of having the lashes glued underneath my eyelid, they were glued on top as well, which gave it a better chance of my real lashes being removed. Don't get me wrong, individual lashes are pretty and it saved me the trouble of getting up every morning and applying strips. I will not be getting individual lashes again but this is just my experience with them. The choice is yours though. Do you want pretty lashes or do you want to save your real lashes?

I'm a CERTIFIED Pharmacy Technician Now
Yallllllllll! I can't explain the feeling that's been going through my body since yesterday! Last time I filled you guys in, I told you I was preparing for my Pharmacy Technician Certification Examination (PTCE). I can definately say that I procrastinated studying until the beginning of January although I registered for the test early December. I also started attending one of my teacher's tutoring classes for the past 3 weeks. He really had me motivated every time I went. When I went home, I would study even harder. I don't think I've ever studied for something so hard in my life lol. The closer the test date approached, the more nervous I would get. I really did not want to fail this test! I took my test at 8am yesterday. I was the only one that was taking the PTCE. The test was 90 questions and 120 minutes. My heart was pounding when I got to #90 because after you're finished with the test, it automatically tells you if you passed or failed. I was finished with 30 minutes left to check over my answers. I had to take this stupid survey before I found out my results. I speeded through the survey and my results finally became visable and it said I passed! I immediately began praising the Lord! After I left the testing center, I went to visit my old school to tell everyone the good news. My teachers were so proud of me. I had to thank them for getting me prepared for this test. It was nice to talk to the students about the test. Now, that I'm certified I know there are alot of good things to come.

MAC Haul!
I have been feening for lipcolor lately! I figured it was time for some new lipsticks. I visited my MAC counter this weekend and picked up 2 'surprisingly' because I only wanted one. I purchased Blankety and Ruby Woo. I purchased Rebel like 2 days before NYE but I definately had to include it in this haul. I must say that I am in loooooooove with these colors! They look so good with my complexion. I also purchased MAC's "Cherry" lip pencil to go along with my Ruby Woo lipstick, and two of the Studio Finish SPF35 concealers in NW35 and NW45.
Blankety is a amplied creme that is more on the pinkish nude side. Makes a great nude lipstick for women of color. I wear it with either MAC's "Chestnut" liner or if you want a more nude lipstick look, I would pair it with MAC's "Cork" liner. The lipgloss that I wear on top of it is NYX Megashine lipgloss in "Natural" or MAC's lipglass in "Revealing".
Ruby Woo! Ruby Woo! What can I say? I am in looove with this color! This is my favorite lipstick out of the bunch. It is the perfect red lipstick for women of color...matter of fact for anyone. It is a matte lipstick which means it is really dry when applying to the lips. I would suggest using a lip conditioner or lip balm underneath to make the application more easier. You do not need a lip gloss with this one! It looks great alone. I would also suggest using a lip liner. The lip liner that I purchased with it is MAC's "Cherry". It is a very vibrant red lipliner and it works great with this lipstick being that it is vibrant also.
Rebel is a perfect color for the fall/ winter season! It is a satin finish. I wear it with my MAC "Vino" liner.
These are the two concealers that I purchased.
I usually use Studio Fix Fluid Foundation in NW47. I use the NW45 Studio Finish SPF 35 concealer under my eyes as a highlight and I use the NW35 Studio Finish SPF35 concealer to define and shape my brows.

My Cuzzo's Fabulous 40th Bday Party
There is nothing ordinary about my family. When we do stuff, we do it big and we are known for throwing huge and extravagant events from weddings to birthday parties. We threw my mom a huge 50th birthday party last July and my cousin Demetria threw her 40th birthday party on December 17, 2011. It was a red carpet theme and yes ****three snaps to the left**** it was fabulous. We took pictures on a red carpet, had great food, music, everyone looked good and we danced the night away. Here are some of the official pictures from the party.

Rules of a Lady #20 Makeup
Alot of the makeup looks that I do are for artistic purposes but when it comes down to everyday wearable makeup, I make sure that the makeup looks are enhancing who you are. Many of the clients that come to me have never worn makeup so it's great to see how the makeup has made them look even more beautiful. Lord knows I have seen some clown lookin' people. I'm talking about EYEBROWS drawn crazy. Loud, just wrong EYESHADOW, BLUSH just all over the place, wrongly matched FOUNDATION, using black EYELINER as a LIPLINER I mean just crazy. This stuff is just not wearable. It looks crazy lol. Here are some photos coutesy of nowaygirl.com and youmoron.org.
This is what is called....clown makeup. Makeup that is OVERDONE.
There is ABSOLUTELY no reason in hell you should be wearing these out in public. There are natural looking false lashes that could be purchased to achieve full eyelashes
EYEBROWS! This needs to stops...forreal...huge, unnatural looking eyebrows. And on top of it, filling them in with a BLACK eyeliner pencil NO!
FOUNDATION! It is VERY important that you find a foundation shade that fits you because if you do not, then you will come off as ashy or just the wrong color all together and it's VERY obvious. RULE #1: DO NOT LET YOUR FRIEND USE YOUR FOUNDATION IF YOU KNOW DARN WELL IT DOESN'T MATCH HER. Her foundation shade is like 4 times lighter than her friend smh.
Twerq a lil Sum
I've discovered this new cosmetic line called Fantastic Faces Cosmetics. It is owned by Stephanie Johnson and she has created her own homemade cosmetics. They feature really bright pigmented shadows and lip products. I was sold when I saw how beautiful her lip jellies looked on other people. The colors were so bright and bold and I'm in love with lip colors. It was a color in particular that I had to purchase. It was called "Twerq". I was like hmmm....now that's a catchy name. It's like a pretty turquoise, teal color. It's very similar to the OCC lip tars but a little thicker and gel like. I used MAC's lip conditioner underneath. The application was really smooth and easy and the color was very visable once applied. They come off very easy when you wash it off so NO STAINING OF THE LIPS and that what I love most about them. I would definately recommend trying these out! They are very affordable. They come in a small size but a little goes along way. They run about $10. You can purchase these lip jellies and other products on her website http://stephsfantastic.webs.com/apps/webstore/
On my eyes, I used my BH Cosmetics 120 palette (1st ed.). These are individual lashes I am wearing. For my brows, I used my NYX brow pencil in dark brown and for my face I used MAC's Studio Fix Fluid Foundation NW47 and NW45 concealer as a highlight under my eyes. I used NYX powder blush in Cocoa. I've also been getting alot of comments on how I curled my hair. I used my Gold N Hot flat iron to create the curls and I use 12-18 flexirod hair rollers (11/16" diameter) but any size will do. Here are some pics:

This is without the flash
These are with the flash. As you see, it transformed into a very pretty light, turquoise-green color

OMG!!!!
Yall! I have seriously been neglecting this blog. So much has happened between the last time I posted, which was Halloween, to now. First off, let me say Happy New Year to everyone! Ok so, since the last time I've been on here, I have finished my pharmacy technician program. I finished the 7 month class portion on November 14, 2011 and 4 week externship on December 23, 2011. I got to work at Publix Pharmacy and it was great :) Anywhoo, graduation date is still in progress. It is suppose to be sometime in March. I've worked 3 jobs including the externship which was a 9-5 on the weekdays. On the weekends, I was working at a restaurant as a hostess and I got hired as a makeup artist at a salon close to my house. Talk about crowded! Of course I didn't wanna go into 2011 overworked, so I quick my restaurant job to make room for my pharmacy techician job I was applying for. As of right now, I am studying for my PTCB so I can become a certified pharmacy technician. I take that exam on Jan 19 (well....pending) lol. I haven't really been able to be as focused as I want because we have a dog now! His name is Sabastian. He's my brother's dog and we have been keeping it for him because the dog is way too big for his apartment smh. Bastie is wild! He reminds me of a toddler. He always wants to play and always getting into something. So I spend most of the day telling him NO than actually studying. It's like having kids around the house. Of course, I'm still doing my makeup. I seriously have to update you guys!!! I will be posting those pics on my blog as well as what products I've used. I'm trying to get back into doing video makeup tutorials this year. I'm also gonna start doing hauls and shoes. I'm thinking about starting "strassing" and designing shoes this year. I've found this very interesting. So just be on the lookout on everything and I promise to keep to this blog!
